Churchillian: An un-raced full brother to Master Archie. He’s a very smart colt but takes on more experienced winners on debut, on level fields, but would be no surprise to see him running on into the frame if not too green.

Roccapina: She steps up into a group 1 mile after a top run in the Sceptre stakes. She is untried over the distance, however her grandam Covenant was a winner of this same race. If she stays she could be the surprise

Scarlet Macaw: Our Centenary Syndicate filly is working really well heading into the Grade 1 Majorca Stakes. She showed her metal in the Guineas and Kabelo retains the ride over the same course and distance. We are optimistic she could be right there again.

Gold Poker Game: Her form is consistent, is fit and well, and never more than a few lengths off the best of them. She has not won for more than a year, but she comes in quite well weighted here and could be in the shake up if she sees out the 2000mts

Rainbow Lorikeet: She will relish this step up to 2000m and we make a big runner here and one of our best chances on the day. She has quite a bit of weight to give to the Woodruff filly so hopefully she can peg her down off 50kgs

Kyalami Girl: She steps up into feature company and this looks a fairly open field. She is in good form of late and should run a competitive race but she will need to make the step up.

Nordic Quest: she is just off the top fillies but she is never far off them and we hopeful of some small black.

Symphony In White: You can ignore her previous two starts, as she had valid excuses on both occasions. She is one of the class fillies in the race and if things go her way she will be a big runner here. Lots of value at 12/1.

Future Variety: We haven’t been able to get on top of him the year as we did in his three year old career with his current rating, but he goes into this race the best we have had him for some time. The 1000m can sometimes be a bit quick for him, but on current well being he could be the dark each way selection.

What A Star. She has run two seconds her first two starts. She takes on winners at level weights here so could be a bit tough to turn around form but she will have a money chance.

Major Master: He’s an improving, progressive son of Master Of My Fate. His gallop at Kenilworth was eye catching last week and we cant help but feel confident of his chances as he steps up in trip and into feature company. Good money chance.

Kings Quest: He is also progressive and really starting to come to hand now. He is very well in himself and looks ready to run good race first time out the maidens. Please Be True looks dangerous on his last run.

Sugar Mountain: Tough ask to come down in trip, but drawn well and is usually competitive In A stakes company, so we hopeful.

Empire State: We think he is back over his best trip and we could well see the best of him this time despite carrying top weight. There is a fair amount of form in this race, but he must be one of the chief contenders.

Rougerouin: This horse has really improved and looks outstanding at the moment. With 53kg to shoulder he is a definite runner and must go into all your plays

Sun Dazed: He’s been running on well but not quite doing enough to be a threat, but dropping nicely in the merits and could be included in longer plays.

Best Chances: Rainbow Lorikeet :
Value Bets; Symphony In White , Major Master, Future Variety.
Good Each Way chances : Empire State, Kings Quest
