Rougerouin: His last run was more a reflection of his ability and will be competitive again in this maiden.
Elorix: Returns after a break and may need her run back.
Igugulethu: We fancy her chances here quite strongly. The dangers being Kaapse Klopse and the 4 year old Tambourine Man who she concedes weight too.
Saint Brigid: Her last run was a bit flat and disappointing. We have brought her back to a 1400 which could be sharp, so we unsure what to expect. In her penultimate run, her finish was eye catching, so if she repeats that you will need to include her in your exotics as the field does not look too strong.
English Mistress: She wasn’t quite right her last run, but her work has been really good this week and she will have a good winning chance here.
Heliotrope: This filly has really come on now and she is also ready to win, back at level weights with her stable mate and not much between them, so we have 2 solid chances here. Basic Maneuvres is the obvious danger.
Dragonfly: Drawn in the bush here and he comes from off the pace so it will be a big ask for him.
No Apologies: Ignore his last run, his saddle slipped and he was pulling hard. Hoping to bounce back in a strong field.
Benjamin: We quite like his chances in this line up.If he can finish off his run like he can at his best he can win a race like this.
Hammies Hero; Not always easy to trust but he looks particularly well at the moment and if he can close to his best form he is a massive runner here, so we have a good hand to close the day.
