Friday Greyville, 2 May
Miss Honey: She tries the turn and under the lights for the first time, so not sure how she will shape up but she is well in herself.
Vandahs Sprit: Similar situation with Vandah, but we are hoping she is good enough.
Santa Clara: She is doing very well, has a draw to deal with but we confident of a good run in the Guineas.
Freedom Charter: First run after a break, but she should run well fresh. Prep for the Grade 1 Scottsville sprint.
Sunday Kenilworth, 4 May
Cradleofgratitiude: Disappointing last time, he will have one more chance form a 1 draw. Hoping to run into the money.
Petit Bijou: Drawn widest at 7, but a small field and she should have a good chance here on her last run
Philomena: She tries the 1400mts for the first time and should go the distance on her pedigree. Its not a strong field so will have an each way chance
Mist Of Time: We will enjoy the trip and he should have a good chance here as was running on well last time over shorter. We look to have the Nel horses to beat
Drama Queen: She comes off a good win but may just find the 1200mts a little sharp she may well be in the money.
Sanskrift: She comes off a good maiden win and should be in with a shout here. The 2 horses to beat will be the maiden runners as the stable companion is a very nice filly and Justin speaks very highly of his filly but she is fit and well.
Clouds Unfold: Her first prep run back for the season before the Tibouchina stakes in Durban. She is doing well and i would think she will run very well fresh even though she takes on the lads.
Sailing Ship: She’s a highly thought of filly and should have a good each way chance in a small competitive field.
Dutch Phillip: He hasn’t really gone on this last season. We have tried some alternative treatment at home and we are hoping for a better run here but the race will tell.
Machiavelli: Back over the sprint trip, but takes on his most competitive field to date , so a step up for him but hoping to make a much improved run over the trip if he’s up to this company at this stage.
