Maneki Neko: First time he tries the trip which we think he has been looking for now,. He’s been costly to follow, but hoping this switch up does the trick.
December Dawn: Better trip for her and weighted with 52kg on her back but draws poorly, so looks a tough task unless she can bounce from her draw she should finish closer.
Sheets And Goggles: First run back after a break and drawn poorly, she should need it.
Indeed Mayabuye: Ignore her previous run, she is doing very well at home and could make the exotics pay. Amongst strong form in the race, she looks a bit of value.
Princess Beautiful: Richard up, and coming to hand now. She too will enjoy the step up. Money chance.
Bomber Bay: Improving all the time and over this trip he is definitely a sneaker here.
Charlie Croker: Coming back to his best again, and will be running on strongly from the draw. He cant be ignored at his 14/1 SP.
Callmegetorix: She comes into the race with solid competitive form and should be fancied, but we have had her working and looking better in the past, so tread cautiously.
Fun Zone : Not her best effort last time, but no fault of her own, so hoping to bounce back with a big run. I wouldn’t leave her out.
Philospohise: She takes on stronger here after an impressive win under top weight last time. Draws widest here, but in form so could be competitive again.
Nordic Quest: In great shape and her work at home is tops. Our only concern is the quick 1000m at Durbanville which we hoping doesn’t catch her out.
The Charleston: She has dropped 11 pounds her last 3 starts which should bring her into this race with a chance and comes back fresh after a break. If she can find a bit of her earlier form she can be a big runner at the weights.
