Pocket was renowned for his late kick swallowing his opposition in the closing stages just to do enough. Hence the reason he only won less than a 1,5 length winning margin on 17 of his 20 victories.

Pocket Power retired as an 8 year old to work rider Belinda Haytread’s small holding in Constantia Forest where he will carry out the rest of his days in luxury!
